Exceptional Jockey Contestants
The ten men and women below are campaigning for your votes in order to win the title of "Exceptional Jockey." One dollar = one vote. Winner will be announced live during our Exceptional Derby event on May 4th.
Kane Bradfield
Kane is the owner of Clockwork Performance Training, a youth athletic and fitness program, and founder/Executive Director of Clockwork Youth Academy, a summer and after school program. Kane is not just a former Professional arena football player; he is also a beacon of inspiration and a motivational speaker with deep devotion to God. #ZipEmUp
Jack Bradford
Jack, a Manufacturing Rep and native of LaGrange, loves to support programs alongside his mother (Nancy) and wife (Nina) that cultivate his hometown in the best ways. When he's not in the office, he's golfing; and hopes to teach TEW participants how to swing soon.
Runtise Coverson (Tise)
Runitse is an employee of The Exceptional Way. She loves singing and dancing with the participants everyday. She sees firsthand the impact TEW has on the participants and our community.
Becca Eiland
As a commercial developer with OakMae Development, Becca is actively engaged in our local and regional real estate community. Becca shares an equal passion for bettering the lives of those who live here, including the participants of our program. She is excited to advocate and raise money for TEW!
Joanna Haralson
Joanna works at Community Bank & Trust and in her spare-time volunteers with the Junior Service League of Lagrange. Through volunteerism with JSL, she learned of TEW and has continued to advocate for the program and aide in fundraising efforts.
James Jackson
James, a native of Lagrange and graduate of Auburn University, works at The Mallory Agency as an insurance and risk advisor. When he's not working, he enjoys spending time with his two sons (Jay and Sam) or playing golf and tennis. He's excited to run in TEW’s Derby to raise money for such an incredible cause.
Jasen Jonus
Jasen, the Head Women's Basketball Coach at LaGrange College, with a personal connection to TEW through both volunteerism and an immediate family member who was an Exceptional Way participant.
Nicole Kennedy
Nicole, Community Coordinator for the Troup County School System, who became an avid supporter of TEW through The Jungle Bus which she pioneered and works part-time. She wants to raise money for fellow TCSS students who enjoy the opportunities TEW provides.
Ralston Major
A LaGrange native, Dr. Ralston Major returned home to establish himself as a dedicated third generation physician at Emory Clark-Holder Clinic. Ralston and his wife, Amanda, have 4 children: Lilly Dale, Grant, Clara, and Ellie. He enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing golf, playing guitar in the worship team at Southcrest Church, and hunting with his 8-year-old son at their family farm. During college and medical school, Ralston spent 5 summers working with special needs children through Twin Cedars at Camp Promise, and he is excited to support TEW for such a special cause.
Malone Otwell
Malone is a Prosthetist and Orthotist in Columbus, Georgia. Her love of TEW stems from helping individuals daily overcome their disabilities through prosthetics. A native of LaGrange, she is excited to support this wonderful program in her hometown.
